Political Action Liaison Coordination Report

Central OEA/NEA provides a $100 stipend to a Local Political Action Liaison (PAL) for satisfactory completion of the stated criteria for the position. To be eligible for the payment, please complete the online report below. It will be forwarded to your respective Area Political Action Coordinator.

Report your progress on meeting the listed criteria:

Mandatory criterion: (Use a check to indicate completion of the criteria)

Communicated with the Political Action Coordinator (PAC), local president, and members. (What form this communication takes, and how it works will vary from local to local, and will be developed jointly between the PACs and the PALs)

Chaired, or helped coordinate the local FCPE drive

The Local has met the FCPE participation goal set by OEA

Additional criterion (three or more are required): (Use a check to indicate completion of the criteria)

Signed up through OEA to be an active ACE, (Advocate for Children and Public Education), and to be a cyber lobbyist

Attended at least one training session per year sponsored by either OEA or Central OEA. Examples: Central Leadership in Feb, OEA Leadership in the summer, or local training developed by the PACs

Attended a Lobby Day

Played an active role in local election activities (school board screening, bond/levy campaigns)

Attended an area meeting
